if everyone were to be perfect, it would make us no different from each other. everyone would be a photocopy of everyone. it's those imperfections that make up a person into someone who's unique and different from others. if one can't accept you for who you are then its definitely not worthwhile putting in much effort to impress him or her. be proud of who you are. be proud of your imperfections and uniqueness. it doesn't matter what others think of you.
